U.S. Department of the Treasury

Comprehensive Data Visualizations

The Office of Financial Research (OFR) within the U.S. Treasury Department was created by the Dodd Frank Act in the wake of the financial crisis in 2008. OFR promotes financial stability by looking across the financial system to measure and analyze risks, perform essential research, and collect and standardize financial data. As a product designer, my role was to design and develop a series of interactive dashboards surfacing comprehensive and complex financial data visualizations that would be more accessible to outside audiences reporting on OFR’s work and impact on policy-making.
